We feel that God is leading us to care for orphans and widows and support indigenous Pastors and Christian ministries in such places as India, Thailand, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Bosnia. Honoring the culture and the people, then working with them on mutually agreed upon needs, such as medical care, construction of schools/churches/clinics, educational support, or Bible teaching, opens all of us to see how God created us to be in relationship with one another.At Global Outreach, we believe that God has called us to go in Christian compassion and love in an effort to alleviate spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental suffering around the world. Being in the culture and context helps us grow spiritually by establishing relationships with people who live there. Guatemala is a developing country with incredible strengths and challenges.
